Je suis là

Jóvenes de Dakar, Senegal, en situación de calle nos interpelan a través de los muros de la ciudad. Con sus fotos, retratos tomados por ellos mismos durante un taller de fotografía, nos devuelven su mirada tantas veces ignorada y reivindican su propio espacio en la comunidad. En colaboración con Social Vision Project y Empire des enfants.

Young people from Dakar, Senegal, who live on the streets, challenge us through the walls of the city. With their photos, portraits taken by themselves during a photography workshop, they give us back their often ignored gaze and claim their own space in the community.

Through your eyes

Mujeres y jóvenes comparten la fotografía como medio de expresión. A través del diálogo intergeneracional descubrieron sus diferencias y puntos en común. Inspirados en el trabajo de Seydou Keyta y J.R. Artist, llevaron su estudio a las calles del slum Mathare en Nairobi y retrataron a sus vecinos para después empapelar las calles del barrio con sus imágenes. Gracias a la ayuda de Mahtare foundation

Women and young people shared photography as a way of self- expression. Through an intergenerational dialogue, they realized their diversity and their common points. Inspired by Seydou Keyta's work and J.R. Artist's performance, they set up a Studio on Mathare´s slum streets and took photos of their neighbours. At the end of the workshop they wallpaper their images on the streets of Mathare Slum, Nairobi. Thanks for Mathare Foundation support.

Taller realizado por personas con diagnóstico psiquiátrico residentes de Llar Sant Martí. Con sus cámaras nos hablan en imágenes sobre sus experiencias. Realizado gracias a la Beca Art for change y Ciutat i Valors.

The participants were people diagnosed with mental health issues living together in Llar Sant Martí. Through their photos they talked about their personal experiences. Fundació la Caixa Art for change Grant and Ciutat i Valors.
